Bohyme shows on the package that the cuticles are only removed a bit not fully striped. Which is why it has to be aligned still.

Yeah, you don't fold the hair completely in half when you pinchbraid! You'd be wasting a ton of length if you did that. You (or rather, the braider) only fold over as much as you need to braid- about 2-4 inches, usually.

i know this has come up before and people have found bohyme is cuticle free (US version anyway) or at least the cuticles are aligned. i remember people finding both things. i'm wearing the US bohyme - which i think is cuticle-free - in pinchbraids and there is some overlap (not a lot - maybe a few inches in some places) but it doesn't tangle when i comb/brush. i also know that pinchbraids are done with hair that is not specifically cuticle free or remy hair - like hisnher 50% mink - and don't have issues because it isn't truly folded in half..

HTH!

Because it has the cuticle it could tangle.Cause the cuticles need to lay all in the same direction.

.As long as you only double over a little bit it should be okay. You just wouldnt want to double over the whole length. You would lose too much length.Maybe I'm missing something.Hopefully a pinchbraid wearer will add something I've missed.

I am having pinch braids done and read on this forum (and was told by
my stylist) to et Bohyme hair BQ the cuticles are removed and the way I
want the braids done (hair folded over in half) the cuticles will tangle.
BUT, I keep reading on different sites that sell Bohyme that all the cuticles
are ALIGNED to prevent tangles. What's the deal? Is it cutucle free or is it
cuticle hair???

And where can I get cutucle free???
Why not have a great hair day???
