thanx afrolatina,, its good to have products to focus
on the ends,, i honestly just 3 months ago realized
that it was my ends that were keeping me from
having length ,, and now that i examine my ends i
see all this awful damage that breaks my heart
due to old overlapping( my old 16 mths fired
hairdresser) and wayyyyyy to much heat and I never
even used to pay any attention to my ends while
conditioning so i guess i cant blame my hair
but now i've learned so im gonna treat my ends like
gold beuz i believe my hair grows pretty fast but it
breaks easily so thats where the issue is, anyhoo i
will update after i use the Emergencee this
weekend.......
Hair type: 3b some c?, fine strands, last relaxer sept 05, never again!!! current :ap length on sides,,nearly bsl in back, damn those old frazzled ends! I am hair OBSESSED

Cookiesnkream -

Sounds like you are doing all the right things to correct / minimize the damage.  I have used Emergencee many times both at salon and at home.  It's a good product and definitely reduces breakage, makes hair stronger.  It does dry hard so just be sure to rinse well and then use a good moisturizing / detangling conditioner afterwards.

Also regular trims will eventually solve the problem for good.  I know it sucks to have to though.  Also, I have weird ends too and they were really damaged from too much curling iron and not enough TLC.  I have stopped using curling iron and also added more moisturizing products to my routine, really concentrating on the ends with specific products like Carol's Daughter Heathly Hair Butter and The Jane Carter Solution Nourish & Shine.  I know you already have good products in your regimen that work for you, these are just the ones I like.

Keep us updated.

I plan to try Nexxus Emergencee this weekend
becuz my damb overlapped and mistreated ends(i
just got wise about hair this summer) are bugging
the hell out of me,, i dont see a length reduction but
each time i grab a bunch of hair and examine the
tips i see these litttle bent hairs that flip to 90
degrees and break right off and i find these over and
over regardless of how gentle i am and how silky
soft my hair feels and i whether or not i use heat
so im gonna try this 'polymeric reconstructor",, i
have heard that its lighter than Aphoghee and ive
read no reviews of more breakage as i have with
Aphogee over and over , lol so ill review the
product once i try it,, wish me luck..
