If you don't do anything to damage it, it should grow in fine.  Just avoid heat and chemical processing.

my hair was brittle before...but now that i just cut it to around 1 inch length or so, it looks a lot better and healthier. now im wondering will it grow back healthier or will continue grow out brittle and dry?
