well welcome- dont take them out if you like them,how long have you had the braids in>?

typicially hair grows about 1/2 - 1/4 inch Per mth-

there are 3 seasons of hair growth-

growth stage,

dormate stage- no growth

shed stage- more shedding then usual.

sometimes, when there is change in weather, our hair tends to grow more, usually in warmer months.

oh okay thank you soo much It's just that I mean my hair is really really growing and i'm sort of anxious to take my braids out and see how long it has grown but I don't want to because it took me hours to do

Hey London!

I'm not expert on braids...but I'd assume that any new growth that is not in the braids would be regrowth..alot of women had said that they experienced a lot more regrowth when their hair was in braids.And if you put them in really tight, then I don't see why they would loosen that much. But the ladies here are experts on all kinds of extensions so I'm sure they have some advice.

Hey everyone My name Is london and i have already given an intro on the introduction thread but anyway! my question is when you put braids on! and you see new growth in like less then a month is that really your hair growing? i put the braids on my hair pretty tight oh and i make my own wigs and braid my own hair i just dont know my hair must be growing pretty fast im growing out this perm please help a sista out
