I have used Both Wawa and Janet's Hot stuff fusion in the past and
LOVED them. I also used fabric softer to help with softness. The
straight or body wave Wawa worked alot better for me tha the
French Refined wavy.the FRW tangled quite a bit early on and I
ended up straightening it for the remainder of the weave.

hey no prob...understand the money issue.....same here....had to pay off school instead of going to Atlanta and getting it done....still have another school loan im going to have to pay pretty soon..so its WaWa for now....if i compare the WaWa that I have now and cheap human that i would get at sally's defintly prefer WaWa but im sure there has to be something else out there...GOOD LUCK

thanks rachel. i did use some PH and WaWa together in one install last winter... i didnt leave them in very long, ended up taking it down and doing braids, because i didnt have the time for maintainance at that time. i agree that ph and wawa dont mix well, they seemed to tangle up with each other and just make a big snarly mess. but I dont have much long term wear experience with either of them at all, which is why I ask.

I heard someone say once that synth was still better cost and wear/feel wise than cheap human. Ideally I'd love to gt bohyme, Im sure there is a big difference there in softness etc... however that is nowhere near affordable for me at this point, so my options are either wawa (I want to do weft this time as opposed to microlinks because my hair is so short, it seems like it would be more compatible, plus a quicker install) cheap human, whatever the cheapest is that my local BSS carries (and for really long hair, its still quite a bit more expensive than wawa) or braids, in which case the quality of the hair doesnt matter, Id just use cheap jumbo lol.

anyone have any opinions on what would be easier to take care of and feel better, cheap human (silky straight or bodywave) or WaWa?

What I usually do is take my big crab pot fill it with water and a cpl of cap fulls of Downy...I think the Ultra...havent tried that dark blue super wamo dine one on it yet...anywho..let the water come to almost a boil....just hot enough to have steam coming off and throw the hair in there then let it sit until it cools off...I usually put it on velcro rollers....after that it feels a lot softer and it seems a lot of the sheen is gone..but it might just be me....

As far as WaWa on a weft ..it seemed to get all crunchy really fast but I was messing around with it a lot as well.....I did try mixing some PH and WaWa together and they didn't exactly mix well and the WaWa did seem a bit softer..IMHO....I did try the hot water/Downy thing on the PH but it seemed like it leached out some of the color....it could just be differnces in lighting but the PH defintly got a bit crunchy after it...at least one color did....

just my cheap 2 cents

well Jenn... I dont think any synthetic will feel like human hair. Its a synthetic fiber and I dont think there is anything that will make it feel like human hair.  Having said that I would definitely use Wawa again, I loved everything about the Wawa except like I said the feel...which wasnt terrrible or horrible just not soft and silky like HH

Ok so I found this local beauty store, thats brand new... and it has the MOST therm fiber hair I have ever seen in one place. Hot Stuff fusion, Outre, Batik, OPH (protein hair) WaWa, Freetress Future, and a couple other brands I ever heard of. Good color selections too, including some that dont seem to be readily available even online. Anyway I was wondering, Im wanting to get a couple packs of long weft hair (at least 20") and I really cant afford qualility human. The WaWa here is only $8.99 a pack, so that seems the most cost effective.

However Ive heard a couple complaints about the softness/silky feel of this hair - mostly from Sherrie, I think. Anyway anyone else ever have issues with this, with it feeling rough to the touch etc? I *really* want long hair but I dont want it to feel icky to touch,  I think my bf would complain about that!!!! And do any of the other therms stay softer? Thanks.
