Try washing it with Regular Tide to fade it.  Ash usually fades pretty quickly.

Hi all, I'm new to this board, and rather new to dying my hair so forgive my ignorance.

I recently dyed my hair light ash brown (which is my natural haircolor) over a light reddish/blonde that i had. the color didn't take very evenly, but one peice in the front got EXTREMELY dark & muddy looking. Noticebly darker then the rest of my hair. Is there anything i can do to lighten that peice or strip some of the dye out? I tried washing it, but it didn't seem to make much difference.

Any help would be very much appreciated, I'm going out of town tommorow morning & am getting desperate. THANK YOU
