I have to say that for dark haired clients the Indian hair works great and is very cheep. I have it in now and love it. I have a client who colors hers black and I put shades on the hair for hers. I don't recommend it for lighter clients because that hair tends to be to damaged. But I got 4 4oz bags for $250 22 inch they have longer. You need to prep it by washing and soaking in hot oil ( olive or i use natures therapy). I may have missed how your installing. I don't now how there wefts hold up if you are going to attach that way. I do strand by strand so The weft is irrelevant for my use. I think the site is www.indianhairs.com but I will double check.

Plastikhaar is amazing. Sara can put the hair you want on a weft so if you decide you want to make clips of it or try a bonded or sew-in method, you can do that too.
Plastikhaar or Prohair is very good for the money! I really enjoyed Platikhaar for the duration I was wearing it. The only reason I switched back to human hair was that I missed using a curling iron.
I have curled Plastikhaar many times with hot rollers and it works great.
well your options in synthetic would either be monofiber like Plastikhaar or Prohair. It comes in really long lengths. Yes you can get it straight too. The other option is thermal fiber like wawa or American dream thermofiber.
The monofiber comes in lengths up to 48 inches. You can curl it and all that, you just do it differently, you cant use a hot curling iron but you can set it with heat & steam, like either velcro rollers and a steamer or hotrollers.
The thermofiber can take heat well. you can curl it and all the heat styling stuff. But the only thermal fiber that comes that long is AD which doesnt have an online shop, they are in the UK and you would need to call them to order. AD has lengths up to 60 inches.
No synthetic feels like HH...it doesnt feel terrible, but does not feel like HH, but there are things you can do to keep it feeling soft as possible. I think its a trade off for the high cost of HH that long. I personally have used Wawa thermal fiber, and loved it (other than the feel) It looked beautiful and the nice thing was that I got out of the shower every morning with a head full of curls becuase it keeps the curl til you straighten it out. And a full head of 22 inch only cost me $25! Alot of the girls here use synthetic and have no problem with the feel. Like I said its soft...but does feel a little different than HH.
wawa costs about $10 a pack. Ph is about $15 a pack I think? and AD is maybe around $35 for the long lengths (cant remember for sure). Synthetic is always cheaper than HH, its cheaper because its manmade. Human hair has to go through so much processing and you can just imagine what all is involved in collecting and processing HH...especially hair that long! Actually you dont find much HH that long and thats why its so expensive.
You can get the synthetic in either bulk or wefted, so you can use any method of attachment.

oh do a search on plastikhaar.....the girls here have MASTERED the monofiber....styling can certainly be done with monofiber...its just done a little differently than human hair.
There should be some awesome pictures of installs with PH...and some very detailed posts on how to style and care for the PH. Might be a good option for you!

have you thought about synthetic like plastikhaar? Alot of the girls here who have done super long installs have used plastkhaar with good results. Its a very high quality monofiber and it cost a FRACTION of what human hair costs.

are you planning a layered cut? or all one length. Is your hair thick? or thin? If your are going to have long layers...then you may be able to get away with less hair. If you want all one length then it would take more hair to cover your own shorter hair...and to be thick enough to blend it in, and the bottom to be thick enough and not look scraggly. And if your hair is thin then it wont take as much extension hair to blend...whereas if you have thick hair it will take much more extension hair to blend in.
What color is your hair? If its dark, indian hair might be a good choice. You can find long lengths in indian hair and can find good quality in darker indian hair better than lighter colors like blonde or light brown.

Hi and welcome. Yes, I've ordered from SHFseveral times. I got their seamless weft method color #4 wavy and I loved it so much I ordered another one. I have ordered Bohyme from them also. I have never had any problems with them except my recent hair I bought was lighter than #4 so I just dyed it to a darker color. I know I should have called them and returned it but I wanted to use it that day I got it in the mail. I find their business professional and the shipment is fast. I also order from HisandHer hair. I get the Bohyme and love it. Good luck, any questions, just ask.

well i have heard you have to cut it to blend when its that much longer than ur own hair...so basically im wanting the 30 inches cause it is the same pirce as the 26 inches..but WOW>...the hair they used on those girls at haircandy.com ..GORGEOUS>..does anyone know how to find hair like that in say 26 inches? sherrie....how much hair do u think i would i need if my own hair is 18 inches roughly (i just measured..) and i cut the 30 inches down to say 26-27 inches? just cause i want it super long but i know i cant afford 12 ounces of hair since 8 is already costing me 400...especiailly when im afraid it might be good...i wish someone would speak up who has dealt tiwh the company personally..but that might not happen before ive ordered.....
