ita with anaissatin but another thing that i found to work for me is simply adding liquid aloe vera (aloe vera gel(liquid) or aloe vera juice) to my conditioners that i use daily for co-washes. I have great results and my dryness/breakage issues were resolved in a couple of weeks. I still do this and love it.

Why don't you get a water filter attachment? You could also clarify your hair to get rid of mineral buildup or any other buildup you may have (probably the mousse). You can do this with a diluted apple cider vinegar rinse, or with a clarifying shampoo.
Hey guys and gals,
I have naturally curly hair, but since I've studied abroad in
London, my hair refuses to curl! I'm pretty sure it's the
extremely hard water here at the dorms having its effect on my
fine/thin hair, but even when I use mousse and scrunch--no matter how
much I use and scrunch--my hair flattens out by days end. Does
anybody have any ideas on how I can bring back my curl? It was
curl with attitude, I loved it!
I'm also a bit concerned because my friend has pressured me into
going to the Vidal Sassoon School with her for haircuts (I'm in dire
need of one and it's cheap...so I agreed). I'm afraid if they
don't see my hair in it's curly state, I'll get a cut that would be
difficult for when my hair can curl again back in the States. Is
bringing a picture of myself when its curly a good idea?
