Okay, I am at one with my duality.... I voted for Straight Across, but am trying the Fairy-Tale ends look right now!  Mostly because I just want to get to my terminal length at least once in this lifetime!

My hair is thick but I'd prefer it straight across just to make it difficult for myself!

I think thick hair looks the best with fairy-tale ends, and then thin to medium all of the other shapes. I am planning on growing mine out in a U-Shape, since my hair isn't very thick.

I prefer straight across, but I also like a slight U shape.

Don't know if the bulk of my hair qualifies as "gorgeous" but the "painfully thin..." description seems to apply, only more like about 12-15 inches.  See signature picture for proof.  I'm going for terminal length, and after I'm sure I've reached it, I will probably trim off those wispy ends.

I like fairy tale ends, but only when they look nice and properly cared for.  Sometimes I see people whose long, gorgeous hair is overshadowed by about 6 inches of painfully thin, damaged-looking hair at the bottom.  But for the most part, fairy tale ends are amazing.

I voted "Straight across" even though I have what is described as "fairy-tale" ends.  I can always wish, can't I?

The whole time I was growing my hair, it had a "U" shape to it, due to the way my stylist trimmed it. Then I eventually wanted a change, so I've slowly changed it to straight across. I think I prefer it straight across now, but I could always change my mind and go back to a "U"

I couldn't choose!  My ideal hemline would be in a slight u but very fuzzed out like tapered ends.... so it would be a u shape combined with a year of not trimming.

I guess right now I have a U-shape. I will probably just stay with that for awhile and see where it takes me!

That's funny I just trimed my hair into a slight U with
the feyes method it looks good I think. Before it was
very blunt, I like a slight U shape better I think.

I didn't really know what to put for that one but I guess I like u shaped best. I like it when they've grown out a bit though although not to nothingness wispys.

I have seen lots of different looks for the ends of long hair. Basically, there's blunt ends and tapered/natural ends (called Fairytale ends). The blunt ends have 3 shapes: straight across, u-shape, and v-shape.  Which do you prefer?

25 inches as at 1st Nov 06
