Sedu 1". I have this one it is ceramic/tourmaline and costs $118. That might seem like a lot to spend on a flat iron but it works much better than my $40 Hot Tools so I think it's worth it.

My hair is only about neck length, but sometimes I like to flat iron and bump it. What's a good flat iron for my hair? My hair seems pretty thick and usually takes a good bit of heat to get to it. I've also heard about a couple of flat irons but..

Maxiglide: I read that it would rip out my hair, and that scares me! I'm trying to help my hair, not destroy it. Also, I read this one was prone to breaking.

Solano: It gets super hot and could fry your hair?? No thanks!

I'm not sure which other one I could use. I know all about doing rollersets and other styles, but just for certain occasions when I want straight hair I'd like a good flat iron. Does anyone have a suggestion? TIA!
