I think the price is great! It's not top quality hair so it shouldn't be expensive, but it's still good hair (in my opinion) so I'd definitely expect it to be more than the crap hair.
I'm like you.....the top quality hair is too silky for me, but I don't want tangly nasty hair either. Sometimes it's hard to find hair in between, but this is my second time using Janet Remy, and I wouldn't have bought it again if it was bad.
I think silkening spray works great! I've never used Kenra, but I use Mizani and it does a good job.

Do you think that is a bad price? The store owner says it is the best hair that his wholesaler can get. I also use highlift blonde with bleach. It was the best hair I could find to match my texture. Most of the silky high end hair is too silky and doesn't blend well with my hair. My hair is not fried but you can tell the difference.
The store owner doesn't carry it in his store so it will be a special order. But,OMG for 4 oz. bag I don't think that is a bad price. Especially since I have been practicing pretipping. I can suffer the time tipping for the difference in price.
Do you think a shine spray would help the shininess? I use kenra silkening spray, it is awsome!!!
I don't want to order expensive hair just to practice. I have several different types of hair already. But I was looking to try another full install on myself. I am allergic to nail glue so I will have to suffer the keratin tip removal under the shrinkies.

Ooooh, funny you should ask! I just had a terrible problem with Bohyme being too silky for my bleached hair. So I went to the beauty supply store looking for something different (and cheaper after all the money I spent on Bohyme). So I pick up Janet Remy Gold K something or another (there are a few different types of Janet hair so make sure it's the Remy Gold K). I noticed that it was pretty nice! Still not quite as thick as I personally need, but I definitely took note of how nice it felt. After a number of washes, it DOES lose some of it's silkyness, but I don't think it's that bad, especially compared to many of the other beauty supply store brands. It was good enough in fact, that I went in a bought another pack. One brand of beauty supply store hair I found that I REALLY loved is Outre, maybe because it's a bit thicker, but extremely lustrous and doesn't get too bad after lots of washes. I also like Zury, but it does tend to get a bit dry after a number of washes (I guess I like how it matches my hair texture).

I wore this hair for a couple of days and it matched my hair perfectly. It is Remy HH. I washed it 3 times and just used a leave in spray conditioner. It didn't tangle and stayed silky. I didn't know if anyone had worn it for a long period of time.
im just asking because i bought harlem125 hair from this company and after one wash (hair was processed and silicone coated) it tangled like crazy i was wearing colour 613 and a 613/27 it was cheap though
edited: i think i know which hair you mean its cheap i would not try it because i had bad experiences with cheap human hair

Has anyone ever used any of their hair? I have found a local dealer who can get remy silky straight 4 oz. bulk 18" for $42.00/dark colors and $48.00/light colors.
I used this in their pretipped and I really liked it. my hair is super fine and silky, like baby hair!!! Their 27/613 matched perfectly. I use logics 12v with some highlights and it was a perfect match!!!
They also have Hot Stuff Fusion for 12.99 for 20" bulk and their FUSONE 18" by janet for $42.00 for 100 pretipped strands.
