I have ance-prone skin too, so I understand that you don't want anything
greasy. I used to get high % glycolic peels, and the lady gave me this stuff
to put on that night, to help my skin from being so dry. Let me tell you,
this stuff is amazing!! It's pricey, but amazing if you have dry skin. It's
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Mask. It's ment to be a mask, but she told
me, just put on a light layer at night, and sleep in it. When I woke up my
skin was always like silk. They sell the huge jar for about $40 most
places. It will pretty much last you half your life in my opinion. But it's
amazing.

Also, make sure in the morning you use an oil-free moisturizer and
sunscreen. I use MDformulations in both. They are very nice. But for this,
almost anything will work. Some other lotions I like--Bioelements Beyond
Hydration, Clinique Daily Moisturizing Gel, and Murad Facial Lotion.
Those are all amazing, and haven't made me break out.

We have bad winters here where i live, and bad-cold winds, that really can chap your face.  If i just have a very dry face, i will put some vaseline on it at night, before bed, leave it on for a bit (15-20 mins), massage it in a little, then wash it off and put a normal mosturizer on.  I have left vaseline on all night before, if my skin is peeling with dry skin, i wet my face, and use a file(yes a nail file) and lightly rub off the dead skin, i do this for my lips too.  then put vaseline on my lips, and lotion on my face.  It doesn't leave red marks or anything on my face!

Most people get scared when I say to moisturize with oils but hear me out.....light quickly absorbale oils are great for the skin. Jojoba oil is the closest match to the wax that you skin produces your skin needs that wax to creat a protective barrier on you skin.  A blend of oils that are light can soak into your skin and help heal and reduce your skin's need to produce excess oils. Trying to dry out your skin only causes it to produce more oils.

I make a great moisturizer with some wonderful oils for the skin that do many things from combat bacteria to promote firm healthy skin.  The beauty of using oils is you only need like two drops and it spreads everywhere.  Your skin will not come out greasy and since there are no chemicles it is very gentle.  I can send you a sample if you are interested.  good luck

Every winter, the same thing happens, I get extremly dry skin on my face. I've been drinking more water, and I currently use Olau complete defense daily UV moisturizer for sensitive skin.

I need some help finding a good moisturizer for my skin. Something that's good for sensitive skin, and not greasy, as I break out really easily, but it's got to be really strong, because no matter how much moisturizer I put on now, my skin is still dry and flaky.

Please help me.
