A couple of weeks ago when I was getting my hair cut and making my usual complaint regarding brass, they told me about some toning mousse (I didn't buy it.). I'll bet that's it! (Not that it'll work on me cause nothing does -- sorry, I'm just complaining, which is becoming a usual thing anymore ). Just had to add my two cents. Ignore me.

Thanks! Yeah, I figured as much. I couldn't find the 9N anywhere. I was thinking the Champagne was less warm that the color you use. If I could find the neutral color, that would probably be perfect.

Hey, no problem!  Beige or champagne will add a bit of warmth to your hair.  You may want to see if you can find a neutral color for next time, although I haven't seen that particular shade available on line--I know they make it!

Here's a link to a product that Goldwell makes.  You might want to call the company and ask about it.  I think this color is probably a neutral level 8.

Here's a link (below) to a color chart and brief explaination (scroll down to where it reads

Based on Rebekah's recommendation I tried the Mousse. I LOVE IT! It 'brightened' my hair up beautifully! Although my new lowlights aren't very golden, they are a little too golden for my skin tone....and they were a 'neutral' 9 color. I'm going more cool next time, but WOW! This stuff toned them down well. I used Champagne 9-5.4 with beige undertones.

Thanks Rebekah!
