Well I did that part and nothing bad happened.  I'm adding in hair now to parts that are just too thin.

How far up in the back can you go??  All the way to within an inch of the very top or??  My hair is very very thin up there and the more I put, the better it looks.  I'm just worried I'm going overboard.

I figured out I needed to add a  piece on both sides of my head at the top to make it look fuller.  I had some of my short stuff showing through and now it looks 900% better there. 

My question is that I'm bleaching it on top now to match and wondering it it's okay to get in the shower and tip my head back to rinse or should I try it tipped forward in the sink to rinse the bleach??  Does it matter if it touches the extensions when rinsing?  Any tricks?
