nah homie combing doesnt, it really helps ya waves.
ya hair gets nappy when u grow ya hair out, so it isnt tat neat. combing ya hair helps make ya hair look neat, spaces out ya waves alil, gets rid of da naps, and lets ya waves lay down better. it doesnt mess up ya waves at all.
so u can try combing ya hair when u get a cut lik 4 weeks after depends on how long it takes for ya hair to get long, and combing ya hair da same way u brush for lik 10mins.
