Thanks!

Um, there are just wispy hairs around my hairline.  It pretty much looks like anyone else's hair pulled back.

I mean, if you pull your hair back, do you see your original hairline?  Does it look natural.....

btw, you are a cutie!

Yes, they cover all the hair.  My hair is braided up in tiny braids and they sewed the extensions to it.

Some pix:

If you have long hair, or hair all one length, extension work great as well.

But if you hair is short, layered, you can only add length, and it just doesn't look full, and natural.

At lease it didn't for.  So, I will wait another six months, let it grow out more, and see where to go from here.

Oh no thats me.....short layered hair!

"sew-ins?"

what exactly are they?

Do they cover the scalp, so it doesn't show?

thanks,,tom

Get sew-ins like I did.  I think they look awesome and they did a full cap on me because my hair was short and fine.  I even fooled a girl at Kmart the other night.  I want to do fusion or shrinkies some day when my hair grows but that won't be for a while and this works really well until then I think.

Well, I did it.  I was very long, 8 inch extentions were a big change, and with my hair short as it was, it really did not look very natural.

So, I trimmed it back myself, to just blow the ears. Looks much better and feels great. I can put it behind my ears, and it looks more fuller, and a little longer than it was.  This will be fine until my hair grows out more, then go longer.

Thanks, I think I will keep it just below the chin, but layered for versitility.  So, I can be conservative when I need to.

By the way, I saw your photos, and you look great! espically with short hair......

Honey, I don't know about much of the stuff as I'm a newbie but I just wanted to welcome you to the board.  You'll find long hair addicting though as I vowed I was done with it after doing a bad bond job on myself but now am set to go in this evening for all over braids and extensions sewn into those.  It's my only option as my hair is very short still.

Hello all, I am getting 8 inch extensions on Tuesday of next week, not sure on how to have it styled or cut.  My hair is thick, longest length about 6 - 7 inches on top, 4 inches on sides a back.  My bangs are short (unfortunetly, not sure if anything can be done about that).

This is my first time with extensions, so I don't know to expect, or how much flexibility the stylist will have.  I need a style that is flexible, wear it down at times, but very conservative at work, like behing the ears, and hide the length.

Suggestions?
