yes and no..b/c all you have to do is get your hair to curl up and one you do that...you should be coo with getting waves...so find what makes your hair curl up and go with that and that will help you get the waves you need..

Yeah im mixed with indian and i got some thin ass hair... And my waves are commin in slow!!! So for the other mixed people, post some pictures, and lemme know how long it took to get the waves goin nicely??? and what methods did you fellas use? Me im juss doing the h2o method a few times a day, then at night after i get out the shower i put in some murrys, and then wrap it with the durag and wave cap(after i brush for about 30 minutes)... The progress kinda shows, but i thought i would start spinning faster tho with my hair type.

It would make you 1/8 Indian. Most black people lie about being mixed with indian. Most people in general think they have indian in them, but they don't. Im 1/8 indian and 1/4 white, but I can prove it because my grandparents are still alive. For the mixed hair thing, I think the nappier the hair, the more waves yuo will see.

well i sure as hell didn't get tha hair gene. I got naps for life!

Personally I don't use grease anymore ...

I've been working with the carrot cream,

but I would say what you are using is fine

As far as a brush, a med is fine ... you just

don't want it too hard or too soft ... just

make sure you brush, it is the key ...

G'night.

Youngsta_JP - it takes time ... I've never heard of

anyone getting waves in one week ... pick a method

and stick with it ... it takes some people months to

see results ... patience is the key ...

... On another note, I've seen dudes with mad nappy

hair get a solid wave pattern in like a week ... naps

are naturally curly in form ... so when they brush em

a pattern shows up quick

G'night.
