Heck yeah, I used some BSS crappy hair and had a rats nest after 2 days.  You do live and learn, the better the hair the better the results.

If you are just trying things out , I wouldn't spend alot of money either.

Good luck in your adventures!!!

Great tips i shall try that in future, these red hair tips are really funky but amanda says they were a cheap quality, i dont know about quality hair YET havnt bought any, but these are my EXPERIMENT streaks and i took them out this morning because they just looked awful

Did everyone experiment first with cheap hair?

i just needed to see if i could do shrinkies and i can and i can learn from my mistakes

I usually start in the middle and use light pressure and razor down the length of the hair, sometimes I need to do it a couple of times.  As for flipping up, you just may need to flat iron the ends.

Try adding a couple more strands underneath a few more layers and see if that helps.  YOu may also want to cut the tip in half so that there is not so much hair going in, so it stays looking like a highlight.

Love the red color!!!  One of these days I will get daring enough to try it.

It's hard to put extensions in your bang area, as there is not usually enough hair to cover the bond.  As for the sides I you could make them look blended better if you razor the length.  ON your right side of your head it looks as if you took your sissors and choped the length off to match your layers, but it looks to choppy, that is why you should use a razor or the very tips of your sissors and and slid them down the length of the extension.

Also when adding a significant color change, it will be harder to make them blended unless you add more highlights at different levels.

Hope this helps.

use a hairshearing razor, or a eyebrow shaper or something like that and just thin the ends a *littel Littel*bit , cause our natural hair is a bit thinner in the ends so try that^^ Btw i looov that colour<3

well ive tried the pro flex and a few shrinkies.#

i put them all in the front as i have layers and i wanted to make my layeres look longer, anyway i tried adding a few streaks (some red ones that Amanda sent me) but they look like they shouldnt be there, i cant explain properly, they look like they have been stuck there any old way lol, even though i "try" and blend them, they just look worse lol

What do you mean by looking like it should?  What are you trying to do and do you have any pictures to show so we can help you.

How long did it take you to make extension "look" good?

i man...i know it takes practice, but how long or how many attempts before you got it looking like it should??

im asking as im new to all this, and everytime i try it just somehow doesnt look right, is this normal ?
