If their Double Hair is the same thing as the wefts they showed me when I took their class, than I'd stay away from it. They have wefts where they have just a few holes in the tops of the wefts where you are supposed to pull the client's hair through and then bond with their glue.
The problem is that they instruct you to attach a fairly heavy weft with only about 4 attachment points, thus putting way too much tension on the attaching hair. Sounds like a good way to pull your client's hair out to me.
Their hair felt like straw within a few shampoos anyway.
I have just been having a look at the double hair method and the hair they use seems really nice but I want to try and have a go at doing the double hair method but using my own wefts. The stitching on the wefts is very thin. Will probably have to find some very fine wefts.
Hi Sassy, Im sure Balmain use Chinese cuticle hair which is gently coloured. I personally haven't used it but im sure i can remember Amanda saying the quality wasn't good.
