I've only had Jet-Set in for 10 days...but it is wearing softer than the Bohyme...and definetly a LOT softer than Lush.  So far I'm very pleased.

Yeah, would love to hear what everyone thinks of the hair? Saw some of
the girls on the other thread said it did feel different hair from Bohyme.
Very interested to see if it goes 3 months-tangle free.

I washed the Body Wave sample again today (7th wash) and it is still a soft
"S" wave now from top to bottom......feels nice & soft.

I ordered the color ring.....hopefully get it soon.

LOL….No, don’t want to go there Amanda…LOL

Here is the Jet Set Colors…
http://www.jetsetextension.com/extension/swatch.php

It’s hard to tell from a screen and of course the numbers get listed
differently.

It’s how the hair actually holds and compares to Bohyme, not so much the
color ring choices. They differ from company to company and it’s so easy
to duplicate another companies color ring and add as many colors as you
want.

Time will tell huh?…..LOL

NOTES….
Jet Set has all the same numbers & most of the combo’s as Bohyme
(didn’t see “D”s…18D, D18D/22). Jet Set does have more combo options
available.

The Jet Set screen colors do look different from the Bohyme ring, but I
hate looking at a screen to compare colors and it is never an accurate way
to judge anyway. I am going to order the Jet Set Color ring to have a
better look at their colors.

The Jet Set wefting is the same as Bohyme's wefting.

Some of the wording is very close ………………………..
BOHYME
The waves will straighten out and you will continuously have baby soft
hair that can be curled to give some body.

JET SET
The waves will straighten out after washing and you will continuously
have baby soft hair with hint of body which can be waved to give more
body.

This is just a very “quick “comparison…..nothing more…don’t hold me to
it…LOL
BOHYME--------------------------------JET SET
Silky Straight-------------------------Fine straight
Velvet Luster/Textured Smooth--------Texture Straight
French Refined----------------------- Volume Wave
European Curl------------------------ Body Wave
Deep Wave- --------------------------Spiral Curl
Body Wave--------------------------- Natural Wave
Platinum Series /Brazilian Wave----------Water Wave

I think if you take a look at all the manufacturers in China, you will see
several companies selling almost identical items and the only difference
will be the colors offered or different names regarding the textures. This
is easily explained…when you go to do an order from any of these
manufacturers in China…most will have a color ring they work off of. A
lot of them ask you to send them a color ring or any swatches of color
you want and they will duplicate it for you. So someone can quite easily
send in a Bohyme color ring or any ring and have it copied. Also adding
any other combos they like…. so this explains why someone can have
almost identical colors and other combos made up.

This may not be authentic Bohyme but they "seem" to have found a
manufacturer than offers equal like quality (still to de determined) and
produce similar colorings. They also offer similar textures as Bohyme and
it is very easy to rename textures, which is done all the time!!

Bohyme has already passd the test time & time again....so we know that is
a good product. The test is how does Jet Set hold up over time?

That’s just my take on it all………

Girls, please keep us posted on all those who have bought the Jet Set hair
and tell us how its holding for you.

#10 is a match & checked outside in natural light.

But how did they get all the color combos?

Well, It’s a “match” over here on the pre glued #4 and the #613 weft
looks the same to Bohyme…LOL. I checked at night first then waited till
morning to get a more accurate look. Even had hubby look at it…..LOL.
Granted, I did not have a full weft… just smaller sample but I could tell no
difference between the two colors out in the daylight. The wefting is the
same as Bohyme.

All you girls who got Jet Set hair…can you compare to your Bohyme ring
and give your opinions on colors? Not every color may match Bohyme but
It will be interesting to see what everyone gets... I have an Ebonyline
Bohyme color ring.

The #4 Jet-set isn't the same color as #4 Bohyme nor is #6.  #4 is a little lighter with more red and #6 is more gold.  I ordered the natural body wave.   Very soft and wavy out of the package.  After Lush, I hesitate to get too carried away until a few washes, so the verdict is still out.

When I asked whether the slim weft could be cut, they told me that it shouldn't be cut.

Hmmm, my only concern with the volume wave is how good it will look straightened and how long would it take to style it straight and to look shiny and silky?  I know that when I had a french refined wave hair (of not great quality though) it took a lot to get it straightened and even then, it had more like a relaxed perm texture.  Maybe I needed different heat products?

Fina, did you take a pic of your latest install?

The Body Wave did drop from top to mid lengths on the first wash but
after four washes now it's still got some body to it and waves on the
bottom part. I haven't tried the other waves yet.

UPDATE:
On the 5th & 6th wash....the bottom waves have relaxed a little more, so
now the strands from top to bottom are in a very soft "S" pattern
throughout. The hair is still very soft.

I can tell you that the Natural Wave is completely straight after washing, and in fact I'm having a really hard time getting it to even hold a curl (same with my Elite Hair from amm but I'm not sure which texture she sent me).  I was wondering about the Natural Vs. Body Wave also; I'm thinking that for the real ability to get some oomph (i.e. those big loose curls that hold) the Volume Wave is necessary.

I got that email too, although Im not a professional so its no good to me... If you read that email it says you can get UP TO 35% off so I imagine you might need to buy a big quantity to get that much of a discount.

I got a slightly different answer on the wave patterns...heres my emails and their response

Thank you for visiting us at www.jetsetextension.com.
We received your message...
Can you tell me about the different curl patterns? What is the difference between bodywave, naturalwave and volumewave? And do they retain the wave after washing or does the wave loosen or drop?
------------------------------------------------------------
Body Wave : A soft, fine, silky texture with a hint of body. The waves will loose the wave after washing and you will continuously have baby soft hair that can be curled to give more body.

Natural Wave : This style gives a large, roller set look, The Waves will loosen and straighten our after washing. It is ideal for those who like to set their hair in rollers, or would like a hint of body.

Volume Wave : This is the most versatile style since the amount of curl or wave can be controlled. It can even be worn straight for a straight full look and then re-wet in order to achieve a curly look again. Wavier than the Body Wave and Natural Wave.
----------------------------------------------------------

Hi, Sherrie.
We received your message...

Thank you for answering my question on the wave patterns. I am still unsure of the difference between the bodywave and natural wave. Is there any difference between the two after washing?
------------------------------------------------------------
After washing, Both of them will loose it's wavy pattern. But as long as it keep their wave on the hair texture, you can control the wave.
These hair waves will straighten out with hint of body without styling.

It can be selected by which wavy pattern you want with styling.
Natural Wave : Large, roller set look
Body Wave : light body wave.
------------------------------------------------------------ --

So in other words the bodywave and the natural wave both loose the wave after washing. SO there isnt much difference between the two textures. Right? Hey does anyone know what the 'slim' weft is?

I asked the folks at Jet Set Extensions a few questions but I went over 200 words and I didn't have time to go back an ask again.  I received a very quice response.

Here is what they said about their wave textures:

"Spiral Curl is great for those who like a permed-look that retains its curl pattern such as deep wave.
Volume wave is wavier than the Natural Wave. After washing it keeps the loose curl.
After washing Natural wave will straighten out and you will continuously have baby soft hair that can be curled to give some body.
So, the order of the wave from the deepest wave hair is  Spiral Curl, Volume Wave, Body Wave and Natural Wave."

They didn't say anything about the Body Wave after washing, but, I guess that Save~A~Stray has been covering that pretty well.

I think you're right on Sherrie!!

Yip, the Jet Set and the Elite Bonds have nice fat strands....which I think is
good because once you cut the fusion bonds in half ( neater bonds), you
are still left with a good size strand. Some fusion strands you get have
the bulky tip and not enough thickness for two strands. So I like that you
can get two nice strands out of one tip. Jet Set prices are steeper in price
for pre-glued than the Elite Bonds.

Update* 4th Wash on the Jet Set Body Wave hair is about the same as it
was on the 3rd wash....just the mid length & ends are left wavy.

very interesting...

My own personal opinion is that Glamourhair is Bohyme too. The pictures are all the same, the colors are all the same, the textures and lengths are all the same.  I think they just repackage with their own label (and reprice..LOL) But thats just my opinion

By the way, besides the jetset strands looking lovely...they look very thick, am I correct?

Sherrie~Thanks so much for posting!!

Haha~Amanda~You might be right. I have no Bohyme here to compare
but I did check the #4 Jet Set against the Bohyme color ring and it is a
match, also the #613 weft from Jet Set was a match as well to Bohyme.

Frantic~ It’s Asian hair….As you read above the #613 Jet Set looks no
lighter, it's the same as Bohyme #613. I didn’t like the 11/4” fold over
beard on the weft though.

I washed the Body Wave hair again today (3rd wash) and half of the wave
has relaxed almost completely but the last 7-8” still have a pretty wave
on it and curls up on the ends. It does has nice body when blown out.
