AWWWWWWWWW yeah... that sounds so good! HOWEVER- I am pregnant so I cannot indulge in the installarita.
Thanks for the welcome--- I have chatted with you before, that's right!. You have a great business and are so helpful. Not to mention your own hair ROX! How beautiful it is! You are a fab walking advertizement for your own business.
I am done wiht my install now. I'll have my man take some pics so I can show you my hair.
Talk to you all again soon,

JeepGirl, I look forward to hearing about how the weft install works for you. =)
Aimee: Wow! Thank you so much. I am so happy to hear that you continue to be so pleased with the clip ins. =)
Synne: I look forward to seeing your new hair when you get it done. =) How are you going to have it installed? Have you decided to go blonde? I understand the business due to babies- I have a 3 year old and I am pregnant now (due in June). The little ones keep ya busy for sure! But they are SO wonderful...

Hey Amm, after about 5or 6 of those drinks, you probably wouldn't care what the back of your head looked like!!! That is until the morning when it all comes back to you!!
I was allso reading a lot before posting here. I have just returned to this forum after months of silence. I had my second baby in April, and have been kind of buisy . I to love the girls knowledge and helpfullnes (is helpfullnes a real word. Sorry, my schooldays were over many years ago ).
I am looking forward to sharing install pictures and experiences with you.
Yup, feel your pain putting those shrinkies in the back....that's where my hubby came in handy...not to mention I'm not as flexable at 40yrs. old as I use to be.
I am installing the wefts with the pro-tac from shrinkies.net....I think I will be able to do this by myself and really happy to remove every 4 or 5 weeks so I can comb out my curly tangles more often. It will be a couple of weeks I think before my elite remy from amms store will arrive..maybe it will arrive sooner cause I can't wait!
I tried to take pics of my shrinkie/lush hair install but they aren't very clear so I never posted them.
Thanks,
JeepGirl
Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!

Thanks, JeepGirl! I have learned so much here as well. Very smart peeps on this board, for sure. How are you going to apply your wefts? Have you tried the pro-tac or pro-fex (I think they are the same??? ) tape? That is one method I have not tried yet, and I would like to do so.
Metalgirl: Upstate NY is very nice. I live close to the Fingerlakes region- if you are familiar. Near Ithaca... Gorgeous area- although winters can be harsh. I grew up in Colorado- and miss it there a lot- but NY does have its own charm. ;)
Talk to you all later- I will be posting pics once I get finished wiht my shrinkies install. I am about 1/2 finished right now- struggling with the back of my head. I keep taking breaks to ease my arm cramps
I am a newbie to this site and to doing my own extentions as well. I also went several months before posting but needed these ladies help when I did my first order and install.....course I still need there help and don't see that changing....but if wasn't for this site and all the info I would of NEVER learned how to do it myself! Well I I learned just enough to be dangerous as a DIYer.... but hey...one install of shrinkies (which I like) and now and getting ready for wefts....I'd say these are one bunch of smart ladies!

I would like to take the time to introduce myself. My name is Anna, and I am an Independant Aritst, Mother, Business owner/operator and hair extension fanatic who lives in upstate NY.
I have just recently registered on this board- however, I have been reading this board and learning from all of these posts for several months now. I was referred to this board by a customer of mine who said that our business was mentioned in a favorable fashion by members of this board. (we sell custom made clip in hair extensions on ebay- as well as to local salons and wedding planners- our company name is Wicked_Wares).
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all of you- professionals and DYIers alike- who have provided me with a wealth of knowledge I have been able to use for myself, my business and for the hair extenion installs I have provided for my friends and customers.
Up until now, I have had no reason to post- every question I have had has already been covered and answered by others. So- in the attempt to avoid redundency, I have not posted a new topic.
Now I just want to meet you all and share conversation about something in which we obviously all share a common interest. Hopefully I will be able to provide some answers and insight to people as well- if not, at least I can hopefully make some new friends. Y'all seem like a fun group.
I am currently doing my own hair extensions install using shrinkies. The hair I have chosen to use is a color #33 in the *Lush* Hair (from shrinkies.net)- blended with some Bohyme hair in color #27 which I have pre-tipped myself. I am using the micro-shrinks for the top few layers close to my crown and natural part, and regular shrinkies for the rest of my head.
I look forward to sharing the install pics with you all later today.
