You can pull it off definetley!!!! I would bring pics. with you to the salon also! And I would go with the colours Blonde w/brown highlights or Brown w/blonde highlights! I like both of those colours! ~LISA9232~

yeah you can definitely pull it off just take the pics with you to the salon as cheerin_preppy said. i used to have this hair and one thing i used to do was straighten it the night before so that I slept on it. This meant that I didnt have that just straightened unnatural look but it was still nice n straight, just not too artificial. I reccomend doing this  also I think the blonde like in the last charlie pic would look really cool, although maybe not as many highlights.

well i think you could pull it off...but what i would do, is print out a picture of his hair, take it to your stlyist and ask her/him if they could do this for you...if not, try other salons..i'd go with the blonde you have, and get bright highlights

Ok people, firstly i appologise as i'm about the 100th person to mention this Charlie Simpson hair style and want help with it.

Ok so basically here's me:

And From the back:

Nice to meet you all :)

Now basically i've been growing my hair since like May/June last year or something and now it's so long and thick that i can't rely on my straighteners to make my hair look presentable, as it's too much for them to handle, so i want to get it cut thinned out and layered or whatever, styled and possibly coloured.

Now one style i do kinda like is this 'Charlie Simpson' kinda style i have read a lot about on these forums.

Which looks kinda like this:

So i got a few questions, that i'd be really gratefull for some help with

  • Do you think i could pull this off - after a cut - with my current hair?
If So
  • What colours would you reccomend? How many etc? (my hair is slightly lighter than appears in the pics)
  • What would i ask for in a hairdressers? Layers, Thin it out? Etc.
  • How can i be sure a hairdresser is good enough to make my hair look like this, and not ruin it!
And if you bothered to read all this and post a reply, i award you a gold medal :) thanks :)

Any help is much appreciated - thanks for listening.

- Adam
