Well with trying anything, especially relaxers, for the 1st time read and follow the entire instructions and remember not to overlap previously processed hair and to follow with a deep conditioner treatment. I actually use Silk Elements professional lye relaxer and I love it.

For my next relaxer, I'm considering using Silk Elements Lye Relaxer. My last relaxer was ORS, which is no-lye, and it turned out alright, but I've heard that lye is better for your scalp, so I'm interested in trying it. I have a while before I relax again, but I'd like to be prepared.

I was considering going natural, but after watching my new growth curl and twist into 4a strands, I'm just not so sure I could handle it. I'm not much of an afro girl.  Maybe when I'm older...

TIA!
