Longhair- thanks for all of your information.  I, too, have ordered from wicked wares and made my own pre-tips.  I also want a quality supplier of pre-tipped hair with curl!

Amm sells fabulous virgin remy wefts but not pre-tips.  I don't mind pre-tipping for myself but for clients I do not have the time, and have to charge them because of the labor involved.  Some clients don't mind because they want the best hair-period.

I bought the "909" body wave from hairpiece.com recently in the stick style pre-tipped.  While they had some of the best customer service I have seen, the hair (at least for me) leaves alot to be desired.  If I don't comb it out every few hours it begins to look like mini-dreads and becomes super tangled.  It does brush out eventually with lots of little hairs everywhere (I assume it is breaking off, it isn't my hair).  It is beautiful out of the box and has some of the pretties curl I have even seen, but after the first wash it is simply an odd wave......not bad but not the same either.  I wear a number 2 and 4 now, and I'm thinking of going even a little darker so the color shouldn't be an issue.  I did see on here that products high in protein can mess up extension hair and I have been using Nexxus Keraphix every 3 days when I wash it (my hair isn't very oily, in a good way).  That may explain some, but I also used it with my previous hair and it worked ok.

I bought a clip in set from a supplier called "wicked wares" on ebay.  I recieved some of the most beautiful curly dark brown hair which lasted like a dream for 3 months. After a week and some coaching from a friend I took off the clips and installed it with latex glue. The only reason I had to throw it away was because I had a bunch of glue on the weft.  If I knew then what I knew now I would have pretipped it since it was still in excellent condition, but I threw it away.  I will add that this hair was kind of thick/heavy in texture, not really fine like caucasian hair........but I have no idea what it was and it blended well (my natural hair is very fine texture but I have a ton of it and my natural curl is much like the french refined photos you see for sale).  I didn't have any tangles in 3 months of wear (I reinstalled it 3 times with the latex glue, I'll never do that again lol) and maybe I was just spoiled with my first experience?  I'm going to order some more of it soon, I just wish I could find quality stick style pre-tip!!!! I really don't want to do all that work, I'd rather pay.

Anyway, the moral to this is that I would stay away from the strand by strand hair from hairpeice, and if you enjoy a really perfect curl that doesn't go away and straightens nicely possibly find that wicked wares store.  Can anyone tell by looking at it what kind of hair it is?

Thank you!!!!

Morgan

I buy curly  tipped hair from www.short2long.com .

I had to send a copy of my cosmetology license to them before they would sell to me, so I'm not sure if you would be able to order from them.

I think www.hairpiece.com has some curly hair.

Hi all...where are you buying your textured and curly pre-tipped hair? Other than Extensions plus, is there a reputable supplier for these?  I appreciate any info!
