It seemed for me, when my hair smelled really bad the next day, it usually meant I didn't get all the dye out well enough -_- .  (I guess I'm not patient enough to rinse as well as I should -_-;; .)  Next time I washed with shampoo, more dye would come out, and the chemical smell would go away.

Garnier Fructis Shampoo and Conditioner for Color Treated hair seem to work REALLY well to get rid of processing odor. And it's reasonably priced.

I just colored my hair lastnight.  I am going out of town with my boyfriend for the weekend and my hair stinks to high heaven from the hair color.  Please tell me there is a solution for this problem.  Need to get rid of the smelly hair!
