For me I do my reconstructor treatments once a month usually. I fell in love with Ion products from Sally's so I use: Ion Repair Solutions Effective Care Intensive Therapy Treatment, Ion Repair Solutions Hair Reconstructor Treatment and Ion 3-Step Emergency Service Hair Repair Kit especially for this particular small area where my hair broke off. It work wonders so far. Now I dont use them all at the same time though.

Cmesweet, Im afraid to try a recon thats not heavy
duty,, i find that i get great results using a heavy duty
EVERY week,, i dont know whats up with my hair
but it tolerates a heavy duty recon weekly and
when i dont use on my hair is limp,, i think my hair is
REALLY damaged on the relaxed parts,, i only joined
Hairboutique in the summer and have only learned
to treat my hair right within the past 6 months so i
really benefit from alternating Emergencee , K-pak
and Redken Deep Fuel weekly but i wil narrow that
down to most likely K-pak and Emergencee soon,, i
wonder if anyone else has tried using a heavy recon
weekly??
Hair type: 3b some c?, fine strands, last relaxer sept 05, never again!!! current :ap length on sides,,nearly bsl in back, damn those old frazzled ends! I am hair OBSESSED

I use suave 2-minute repair  ...I love it! Keeps the hair soft and a little goes a long way.

I have also used V05 oasis 3-minute recovery and it works just as good for me.

Also, they both bring my curls out...I use the conditioners as the second conditioner in the C-W-C method.

Im bored tonight so I decided to review the
reconstructors i've used,, I just washed my hair last
nite and flat ironed after using K-pak recon(smellls
soooo sooo good) shampooed it out with
NeutrogenaTripleMoisture shampoo and then deep
con with Neutrogena Triple Moisture Mask, anyhoo
this is the second time I used the k-pak alone ( i
used to mix it with Emergencee) and the second
time I've noticed my hair came out like silk! really
really soft shiny and silky,, Im not convinced that it
gives as much strength as Emergencee but it is a
good Reconstructor. The Emergencee can make
your hair feel "weird" and sort of haystacky
sometimes but it realy strenghthens it up and the
last real recon I've used it Redken Deep Fuel,, this
stuff works very well and leaves the hair feeling silky
and adds strength,, I really cant say whether its
better than K-pak but I think strength wise
Emergencee works better than either of them but it
may not leave your hair as silky and shiny as the
other two so u really have to deep condition after it,,
anyway since im a huge product junkie i thought id
share my experience with those 3 major
reconstructors
