When my own hair was that length, I used to make a baby pony tail to keep those hair from showing.

Whenever I have a client that has this problem I add a few individual bonds underneath to blend the shorter layer in. I just scatter a few on different levels (throughout the shorter layer) and it generally blends perfectly.

Otherwise you have to keep adjusting your hair to blend them in which is a HUGE pain!

Hmm, I wish I had a digital camera! It is a combo of what Sherri said too. It almost looks as though those aren't neck hairs but a big thick section from the back of her head. She need to split that hair in two and through a weft in between it.

I guess I mean to just position a weft lower and use the sandwich method. Or you can take everyother few strands of hair and LG that to the next highest weft.

Monsterita I was so hoping you would go blonde. We have the same coloring and I was living vicariously thru you.

I have that same issue.  I just make 2 tiny braids and use a bobby pin to lay it flat with the weft.

If Jessicas extensionist had installed a little bit of extension hair in that same color that she has under there naturally, that nape hair would blend more and not be so noticeable. You can tell that the color of her natural hair under there is a few shades darker.

I was just hoping that the tape would direct the hairs back, but it didn't work.  Sometimes I just put them in a little ponytail....

I'm using protac.  I tried to get them to point in the right way on the tape and sometimes I put them in a little ponytail. Mouse, gel, and hairspray don't work to keep them from making an appearance.Unhappy

Oh, and I'm gonna go red in March....

I glue them to the underside of my weft. Usually the bottom row comes pretty close to those little hairs. But I am not sure what method you are using now Monsterita. Did you ever go blond like you wanted?

When my hair was really short I used to shave my neck, but I guess that
wouldn't be a solution that would work here.

Maybe some heavy product you could put on your neck hairs (every time I
read that phrase "neck hair" I laugh) to keep them slicked back into the
longer extension hair? Some kind of texturizer maybe?

I've got the same problem that Jessica Simson has in this photo (BTW, I think her hair looks terrific, aside from the neck hairs).  The short hairs in the back of my neck grow forward and poke out.  It's a telltale sign that I've got extensions, and I hate them.

Any suggestions on how to handle those stupid neck hairs?
