If your hair is curly/wavy after you wash, you can further enhance/hold those curls/waves w. a great gel.  Activator gels are awesome.  My fav is Smooth n' Shine Gel w. Aloe. Hope you find what works for your hair!

no, a diffuser doesnt make your hair lie flat. and yes, it will keep the curls from unraveling and becoming frizzy

Does a diffuser make your hair lie flat and does it keep the curls like just-washed hair?

A diffuser is a blowdryer attatchment that slowing drys the hair so that you can blow dry the curls and not get frizz.

Thank you, that did help me alot. Lol, I always thought there was kid hair AND adult hair because kids aren't really supposed to hair perms/relaxers, but adults can. I saw on another board about using a diffuser....what exactly is that?

there's no such thing as kid and adult hair. when hair is wet, the curl definition is more obvious. so if you want curly/wavy hair, keep your hair wet seriously, you might have to get a texturizer. HTH

I want really curly hair after I grow out my hair. The problem with my hair is that after I wash it, it's in the cute nappy-waves and then I braid my hair. I apply moisterizers and oils and my hair never stays the way I want it....which is curly. I am thinking about getting a texturizer or SOMETHING, but I need help on which product I should use. I also want to know if there's anyway I can get pretty curls like Ming Lee Simmons without having to resort to chemicals. If not then what kind of texturizer should I use. My hair is virgin right now and i'm 13 so i kinda have kid hair, with a cross of adult....help?
