I've had quite a bit of gray in my hair over the last few years (age 47) and for the most part what I will usually do is get some hair coloring (light brown) and apply it about every 6 weeks, and usually it does a good job.
I know I don't treat the roots or anything which you're supposed to do but beings I keep my hair fairly short I seem to be able to get away with simply coloring all of my hair every 6 weeks. Again, with decent looking results.
I do have a couple of questions. My natural hair color is medium brown. The last time instead of using light brown hair coloring, which I usually use I used LIGHT ASH BROWN. And... the hair seemed to come out quite a bit DARKER than usual.
Here are a couple of questions. In general, is ASH coloring DARKER than the regular shades of a color?
Also.. is ASH better at minimizing the RED tones that I sometimes get in my hair several weeks after coloring? Is ASH better at combatting the RED tones?
My main concern is whether, as a rule, ASH tones are darker or not.
