I love the pro-tac and lush. It is a ton of fun with the different color combos and hi lights. It does take longer to put them on the strips but it is worth it. I am going on 11 days and my hair is doing great. Absolutely no problems with dryness, tangling, etc. It's super easy!
Excellent Amm! I do like the idea of being able to customise the color combinations with using the individual strands on the tape...so nice to hear that they are working out well! Thats just one more option for people who like the fast and easy installs of the tapes!
Hey missy...how about some head shots?

I used 6oz of 22" Lush and didn't double it at all. There's about 6 different colors and one strip has purple, burgundy and fuscia placed every fifth strand and that strip is placed above the bottom weft and then covered by two other strips going up. It's a very cool peekaboo bit of color that pops out.
I take about 6-8 tips in my fingers and then press the wand over them until they fuse together in a single row, snipping the extra length so it's only 1/2" and then press down on the tape. Installed, they feel firmer than a weft but are definitely comfortable. There's no shedding and sleeping, even on the first night, was no problem at all. This is my first full install as I had only done a test strip in the past. That tester came out as easy as the weft hair that was in for the same duration.
I got to thinking about doing this with fusion hair and I wondered about problems that could arise with too much blow drying near the strips. Would the fusion tips break down enough to cause a problem with removal? I definitely would do a test strip using fusion/bonding tape and see how the removal is before doing a full install as there could potentially be a big problem with takedown.
This is the hair I prepped for my own install. Wearing very well thus far:
I did it just like Amm did and I haven't had any issues with it slipping but I also haven't done a take down yet either. It is so thick that I probably won't double it up the next time. It's fun but just a little much!

I used close to 400 strands as I doubled it up and wow is my hair thick!
Did you melt your tips together like Amm showed above? I am getting ready to do a full install, but not sure how many tips I want to use, and if I should melt them together like Amm did.
I did have 6 tips in and I just flattened them out and put them on the pro-tac individually, well I just took those out and wanted to try only useing half of the tape. Anyways, I had a Bit*h of a time getting the tips off of the tape, they were stuck like a pig!! That's why I am thinking if I melt a few together it may be easier to get the tape off of them when I do a take down. How did you do it?
Thanks!

I used close to 400 strands as I doubled it up and wow is my hair thick! I think I went a little overboard but it was amazingly fast. I had already put the hair on the tape and stuck it in my hair in about 1/2 hour. My husband forgot to inform me that he was taking clients out to dinner and I had taken all of my hair out earlier in the day and so I was extrememly thankful for pro-tac strips! My hair wasn't blended the best but at least it was long and LUSH! I love the lush hair, I hope Amm will continue to sell it but I don't have too high of hopes.

I've tried this. A bit time consuming to fill up the tapes but once the layers are in, it's a nice full look. I take about 5 or 6 strands and hold them together, side by side, run the wand over the tips to merge them together and then I lay them down on the strip.
Any more feedback on this? I have used way more hair then normal and had to order more to fill up five strands of the tape and now I am too afraid to put them in! Anybody have results from this yet?
