yeah me to i started when i was 16, i was tired of using products, so i just used olive oil and brushed my hair all day and i started wavin good. then i found this site.

i'm a fairly late waver. started wavin since i was 17. brushed regularly and heavily relied on murray's for months. i didn't really get into wavin till i found this site a couple of yrs ago.

i tried spinnin in middle school but i wusnt too dedicated to brushin
or following a routine so i had a lil bit of waveshere and there but
when i got to high school my freshmen yr i had braids so i got it cut
for sophmore year and now im startin to spin a lil btw im a soph still
and im dominican

my cousin got me on dem waves his waves reminds me of ceds...even though my aint that perfect ive only been wavin for a couple months now and he has been wavin since 6th grade and he iz 18 so i got a long way to go to catch up to him
been wavin since i was 13. i had sick waves too but the sides were goin down instead of angle. i found this website last september and decided to change my pattern last october. got scalped and focused on the angle of the sides.

a friend with waves got me into them but i couldn't be bothered to brush and ish so i started kitting. i found this site in december 2005 found out kitting was bad fo ya hair so i cut it almost bald then started tryin to wave. but like i started religiously just in in april.

i had been wavin all my life off and on just neva knew the correct way to do it. I had braids for 3yrs and cut my hair last x mas. I found this site bout two months ago and startin learnin how to take care of my hair. I thought it was the pomades and du rag that did it so i would load up head wit grease and constantly wear durag. I also would brush sides down not knowin they wouldnt connect that way. Ive been on waves for the last month tryin to get it back 2getha so i can get them 360's.

I been wavin since like 6th grade but back then I thought all I had to do was durag. I had some waves on the top and sides and I thought I was crushin everybody. I had curls until 8th grade and went back to my dark ceasers. It wasent until my senior yr of high school that I realized my waves wasent the best. My freshmen year of college I realized I've been brushing wrong and not enough and thats how I found this site. Now going on my soph yr im the only 1/4indian black dude with waves on some spanish level.

started in 6th grade, sophomore in college now. just got on dat 360 style pomade and went 2 work from there. i didnt kno that growin ya hair out helped back then, but i grew my hair for 3 months with brushin and pomade and they were DEEP. gave up waves when i wanted dreads my jr. yr of high school but im back at it now!
