Dust VS. Trim (Ends)

I consider dusting, when you cut 1, 2 or 3 centimeters off of the ends of your hair. The size of the hairs you cut off are so small, that they resemble dust particles. Very small. That is the way that I look at it.

A trimming, to me, is anywhere from cutting off .5 of an inch up to 1 inch or 2 inches. Anything more than that I consider a regular old cut.
