I'm glad you mentioned that...I thought someone had stolen my user id and was making weird posts...I couldn't for the life of me remember the blistered finger criminal remark.

she knows they're not perfect but she's trying and the girls don't mind her practicing on them.

Synne, I love the colors and it looks good from the side view but they have to buy more hair. I know it can be costly but it's not going to blend the way you want it to, it will be detectable. If they want fuller hair you have to use at least 8 oz, I use 12 oz. in my daughters hair.
Start further down the nape, lower in the back of the head , about an 1/2 to 1 in from the bottom. One row natural hair, one row fusion, one row natural etc., that covers the bonds you put in with her own hair and it also leaves more fusions to work with. Don't be afraid to put the bonds closer to the edges maybe an 1/2 inch from the edges. And go up further on the head. Think center part. On each side of that part in a horseshoe shape part a 1-1 1/2 inch part around that.
You can make your bonds a little bigger it takes less time to install and it will make the hair fuller and not strandy looking.
You are doing great. Keep practicing, your speed will increase in no time. I bet you can already tell a difference in your speed. Do you have the hair already tipped when they get there?

I like the color choice, but you need to make buddies with a good razor. Razor those suckers around the line of demarcation, the fringe and the ends. Blunt scizzor cutting ALWAYS looks fake.

Ouchie on that blister. My finger is puffed up too so I feel you.

Delin,
The small ones don't burn that much but the bigger bonds do!!! You have to blow them for about 3-4 seconds before you touch the bigger bonds you're installing.

I burned my fingers so bad one time I thought I saw JesusLOL.

Synne, if you don't mind me asking, what form of advertising are you using to get your practise clients?

Ahhh, the blistered finger.   Criminals may want to consider DIY fusion extensions....no fingerprints.  I think I've systematically burned all mine off.

I think that the color match is pretty good considering what you had to work with.

You do need to add more extension on each of the sides.  Then razor the heck out of them to make them blend.  The back looks good, but I think you need to razor that also to make it more seamless.  YOu can get those bonds fairly close to the hairline without them showing, see if you can add more hair and then razor and blend.

It's great that you are already pretty busy for just starting out, I would love to do that!!!

I know , I“ll try that - thank you.
I can“t figure out why I can do really nice installs on myself, and not on these girls.

Thank good the girls will let me train on them. I learn soo much everytime. And even though the installs are far from perfect, they all seem very happy when they leave.

Well, monday, tuesday and thursday I have more girls coming go get there hair done. We will se how that turns out.

Oh, and by the way, I learnt to use my fingerprotector today :

The back looks really good! The front I think is a little off.  But that's amazing you can do that... I've seen your other job, it was awesome.
The front part gets me, i want to do my own extensions, but my hair is much longer than all these girls you've worked with so I think it would turn out much diffrent.
Can you add more extensions to the front area of the hair, so that it blends in the choppy shortness she has? I think she needs more hair towards the bang area.... that's just my opinion. But it still looks good. I love the colors.

tis a shame the colours dont match but looks like a nice, full install. :)
May i reccommend adding more hair closer to the front of the head so theres less of a 'step' Around the front of the hair if you have a good eye you can choose places for the extensions to go to help blend in the length, if you find it hard try making tiny extensions so they are arder to spot near the hairline  :)

Well, another day, another hairextension.

This one really caught me. She told me she was black on the lower part, and blond on top. From the pictures she send me she looked like a 613, but it turned out to be old pictures. I had bought some bronish colors to be safe, and what a good thing I did that.
Her hair was brown (or black color washed out) and light brown on top, so i had not a single color to match her.
On top of that, she had not read my instructions well, so she had washed her hair that same morning, so its was sooo soft and slippery.

Well here is the result. She was happy, so so am I (well not quite, but I couldn“t say that to her )
