I just had to have 6 inches cut off of my hair due to a Color Speacialist who left me under the dryer for over an hour with bleach on my head.I can tell you what works for me. Aveda Damage Remedy and PhytoSpecific Vitale Force Cream and Joico K Pak those are the only one's I would use but I did find with the Aveda Damage it helped my dry and porous hair after just one use.I hope you can find something that works for you too.
Just be glad we are not getting all the Goverment we are paying for.
The product that saved my hair -- which was fried from home coloring and highlighting kits -- LOREAL PROFESSIONAL INTENSE HAIR REPAIR MASQUE. It comes in a yellow circular tub...it's a miracle worker. It is available only in salons--and it's quite expensive. The cheapest price is $24.00 for the small one. I used to use it every single day -- you only need a DROP ...so it should last you a while depending on how much you use it -- work it through your hair (towel dried hair) and let it sit for about 10 minutes. I use it about 4 times per week now. My hair looks like normal hair again--I also stopped coloring it at home so that helped as well--lol.

PS - Invest in some products to protect your hair during the day. Redken makes some great leave in products, so does Aveda and Infusium 23 (to name a few).

I recommend Aussie 3 Minute Miracle. There is a new formula of it that is especially designed to reduce frizz; I've never used that one, but the original moisturising formula is EXTREMELY good.
L'Anza products are often recommended by other people on here for dry hair.

What is the best deep conditioner that I can use for dry chemical processed hair? I want something top quality and not store bought. Salon brand and recommendations of how to use it even if the directions on it say once a week deep conditioning, can I use it every day? Can I sleep with it on everynight? My hair is in horrible shape. Thanks.
