There have been problems with fusion. One of the biggest one I've seen is from stylist not taking them out with enough care or the worst one- clients picking them out of their hair. Some clients are ready to remove a piece or their full install and instead of following the directions of applying a drop of acetone and crunching the bond in between some pliers they pick them out! UGH! This is horrible! Don't ever pick them out- that's where you'll get damage. Just use care when taking them out and you'll be fine. I've got some removal directions on the bottom of thispage for you:
Also, do not leave your extensions in for longer than 3 months. The bond on fusion is very strong so many think they can go longer but it's not good for your hair. I've had mine in for about 1 month now and I haven't lost a single one Good luck

Thanks for your input.
I realize that all extensions are potentially damaging.
But I've heard horror stories of the fusion pulling the hair
out when it is removed. Maybe that's when it is done
improperly. I can't wait to try it because I've heard it
is almost undetectable!

Hi Kayela...I think that all methods have potential for damage if not done properly and if the removal is not patiently and gently done.
I currently am wearing D-lux fusion extensions from YourHairShop.com. Kristin, who owns the shop, installs these on clients everyday and really knows her stuff. Unlike some other hair I have tried, D-Lux has not dried out or tangled one bit. I have only had them in for two weeks but they are as soft and gorgeous as the day she put them in! Also, I have not lost one bond!

Hi I am interested in getting the fusion method to grow my hair out?
When I get them removed will my natural hair be damaged?
What fusion method is the safest?
