I need help

You mention nothing about your skin tone...pick a color that will match with your skin tone.  It's hard to know what to suggest if we don't see what you look like, so I'm not surprised that you haven't had any suggestions. 

I'm partial to warm tones myself, but those might not look good on you.

ok so... I'm a dark haired 24 year old male. I don't know how to post pics on here or I would put some up. Anywho, my question is that my hair is getting longer still short for a guy and i'm looking for something new to do with it , especially the color. I normally comb it all forward and spike the front up, which i'm not so bored with, but I want something new color wise.. I'm probably considered a medium / dark brown as in natural hair, but i'm looking for something lighter. I've been a highlighted blonde before and I think i'm itchin to go back to it again. Part of me wants to go subtle , the other part of me wants to sit down in the chair and tell the girl stylist to do what she wants. I like the idea of an ashy blonde color.. something with gray undertones that wont look like i'm going gray, but will give me that ashy blonde look.... Anyone else have any ideas? Also If I were your client and I told you to do what you wanted, what would you do??
