I am totally addicted to the E6000 pretipping. It holds so well,
heat resistant, and easier to work with than liquid gold. That
liquid gold stuff drives me nuts lol.
Wearing 22" 8oz Tease I tips installed with silicone microrings.
Extend magic is great for pretipping, but time consuming. Also, it's an expensive way to pre tip, since each tape cartridge cost around $30 or so and will tip about a head's worth of extensions.
I use it almost exclusively for pre-tipping for my
installs, and then use the regular wand to install.
I've tried on my own to pre-tip hair with a glue gun and it was a pain in
the... How do strands pre-tipped with Extend Magic compare with other
methods of pre-tipping?
The reason I do not use it to install with as well is that the machine is bulky. It is awkward to get close to the clients head with it. I use it almost exclusively for pre-tipping for my installs, and then use the regular wand to install. Yes, it can be more time consuming but I want the best quality hair and want my clients to be able to reuse it over and over. I am willing to go the extra mile for that. I am also currently using a lot of D-lux hair for clients who want the silky straight.

Synne: I think that what Amanda is saying is that you have to pre-tip
the extensions before any type of application to prevent shedding of
the extension hair. When you don't pre-tip the extension hair before
appliation the hair doesn't have an extra reinforcement to hold it
together only the product your using for application, which can cause
shedding. I tried just applying the hair without pre-tipping it and it
shed all over the place not to mention I still had the fusion bonds in
my hair without the extension hair which is an absolute disaster.
Shirilyn: Amanda was selling the Extend Magic on e-bay item #5671779449
the auction for the item has already ended but I'm sure you can contact
her about it. The price was $ 555.33 not including s/h.
Just had chance to answer Ick, the extendmagic machine is pretty new so you'll have to make enquiries, maybe contact darren at www.fastbeauty.co.uk and see if he has sold any to any extensionists in your area. Make sure if you find an extensionist that they pre-bond the hair and then install it with the machine as just putting it straight in with the machine is no good. That is the negative. I wore this method prebonded for 10 weeks and I know for a fact I could have gone 16 weeks. I also to test it fully used conditioner as normal. I got it all over the bonds and they were unaffected x
Why is it no good to install with the machine straight in to the hair?
I am about to buy me one from Darren, who has been answering all my questions kindly via email. I think it is the greatest think to invest in here right before summertime.
