I didnt sandwich the bottem weft, just applied the LG to the underside of it for better hold. Im hoping by not sandwiching it, it wont be a PITA to remove.

Yeah, shrinkies caused just as much problems for me, any type of
adhesion thingy just doesn't float too well with me. I don't know if it will
be a problem, it probably won't, I am just paranoid. I am planning on re-
installing this weekend, so I have some grace time to see if I have any
problems.
Thanks sherrie, I think all will be well.

I dont have any problem keeping the protac in...it was just that top row, with the tape showing. My hair is so fine in that area that aftera few washes the hair thats sanwiched over the tape comes off of the tapes, so I had used the LG to glue the hair down onto the tape. Now I just use LG ONLY to bond the top row!
If you are worried about them sliding out maybe you could try using a few shrinkies and anchoring them in.
Yeah Sherrie. The latex didn't come out easily. That was horrible, but the
protacs did. I tried everything, it just took a lot of patience (and alcohol
)
Next time I am just trying the pro-tacs but I am scared they wont stay in
as well.....

Kalika I hope you have better luck than I did....and if you find something that works better for removal let me know! When I tried to remove the LG/Protac I tried acetone and the wefts slide right out but left the tape/glue in my hair and it was a beotch to get out. And I tried conditioner which was just as big of a nightmare!
I can get LG out easy and I can get tape out easy...but not the combo of the two together!
Naked Eye...so....Im getting the idea that we dont want to combine ANY glue on top of the pro-tac. I had a disaster with LG with protac and you had a problem with latex combined with protac.
Im expirementing on my head at the moment. Ive had these protac wefts in for about 3 weeks and the sliding on the bottom weft was driving me insane. I went ahead and put LG on the underside of the bottem weft. Im going to take them out in a couple weeks for a redo.
On my first install I used straight conditioner. It took some time but it finally came out. I had 3 stubborn rows that I finally ended up using dish soap.
Sherrie had suggested pure acetone so I tried that on my second install and hands-down it worked the best. A little squirt of pure acetone on the tape and it slid right out! So acetone will be my future removal method for pro-tac.

Thanks very much, that eases my mind.. I ordered the
pro Tac and remover from the shrinkies web sight but I wasn't sure if
they caused a mess trying to get them out or not..
Naked eye how did you get the extra glue out?

yeah, with the latex, I had problems, but the actual protacs just slid right
out. Of the ones that I didn't bother trying to get the protacs off the
wefts, I just soaked them in olive oil, and they pulled right out. It's
amazing. No problem at all! The only problem was the extra glue, that,
was a mess.

Not hard at all. I heard before that latex and liquid gold were
both easy to get out of hair, and then it took me hours and pulled half
my hair out with it so I was worried. I used the shrinkies
remover and kind of rubbed it around and the hair just lifted from the
tape. By the time you actually remove it, it feels ready to come
out anyway. I haven't had to pull even a little bit, and the hair
stuck to the tape is very minimal and typical of natural
shedding. I love it!!!!!
Wearing 22" 8oz Tease I tips installed with silicone microrings.
