It needs a trim, to help blend that spot a bit more. Though, I may have new pictures to share soon. Which would be nice. That's how I tell how well I'm doing. :)

Thanks for the welcomes. I look forward to learning about my hair too considering it used to be just wash and go. Didn't really care about it.

Hi Cassie, welcome to our nook!

Here is the visual hairtyping guide. If you click across the top on the letters, there are samples of each hair type.

Hi Cassie. The hair type thing tells other people about your hair, i.e. how curly or thick it is etc. Here is a link

http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=8954

You can copy and paste in to your url. I can't do hyperlinks-I think I(;ve got the wrong browser...

Hi. My name is Cassie and I just found this board. Let's see...I had hair to my butt until I was 10 and then my mom cut it and it has only gotten past the tops of my sholders twice before I cut it short. My last hair cut was June 9, 2004 and the longest hair was prolly about 2" on top. It is now 15.5 inches. My inital goal is about 30" which would be the top of my butt. After that if it gets longer so be it. I am swearing off cutting totally. I also have a question: I have seen this hair type thingy in some peoples sigs and was wondering what that was about.
