Thats some scary shoit!:D What bleach did you use? i have bleached my extension hair a cuple of times (it was a strawberry blonde to begin with) and got it down to my old icy whitebonde cololur:P then dyed it black, then bleached it to goldenbrown O.o
I use Indola Proffesional bleach called Rapid Blonde...it is blue so it counters the yellow..:D You could try to bleach a strandtest again first 3 hours, then 3 hours more? Leaving it on all nigth aint a good idea for the hair quailty xD Yes hair expriments are freakin hillarius:D:D Have phun!;)
12 Inch Wawa, Installed with Protac, i love hair extensions<3
It's not a bad color, but I don't think you would want this stuff in your hair, it has disinigrated to just about nothing and has the slimmy over cooked pasta texture.
Don't you just love sience experiments?! The bleach acutally started to eat thru the foil by morning time, no wonder the hair is the way it is. It just is crazy that it is this color and did not bleach out!!
Holy Crap....Ive never seen anything like that! LOL
Holy crap is right, I'm glad it wasn't on my head!! But it does shoot the idea that I could lighten a bundle of this hair to use as highlights for my full head install. I guess if I want highlights with this hair I have to buy some more. Amm here I come!!
I did lighten up some other hair that I have around so my daughter could get her "Aquamarine" highlights, I'll post tommorrow as she is already in bed and I haven't taken pics yet. I guess it would be rude to go in there now and take pics while she is sleeping (not that I haven't done it before, you know crazy mom with camera)
Anyways, this was the craziest thing I have seen hair do as of yet!!

The hair has probably been tinted with a fabric dye or something other than hair color.
Thats what I was gonna say. Lush is asian remy hair I believe, and after the acid bath they re-color the hair, however most places dont use "hair dye" as we know it, but a fabric dye similer to the kind they use for fur coats.
Im guessing maybe it has been bleached right up to white then tinted the appropriate colour and maybe its the darker dye that has reacted badley with the bleach?

Ok, so I wanted to lighten up a few strands of the Lush hair and dye them aqua blue for my daughter. (we saw Aquamarine this week end). I could not for the life of me get that hair to bleach out!!! What the heck is it???
It turned this purply/black color after 3 hours of sitting with bleach on, so I thought that I would rinse and put some more on and let it sit overnight. Well, it is now a lavender color and has just fell apart!!
