Just too cool!  The hairstyle looks really good on you - aren't extensions just a lifesaver?

My hairdresser used texturizing scissors on the ends, but I just blunt cut the extension hair.  The indian hair doesn't seem to clump at all.  I love it!  It's so swingy!

Amazing.  It looks really hot.

Did you use a razor to get the edgy cuts?

Wow.  You look AWESOME.  Watch out Ashlee.

How funny.  I was at Michael's this afternoon and had the E6000 in my hand.  I was looking for a good glue for my hair flowers.  I went with a mini glue gun instead but I was intriqued.  I had no idea you could use it on hair.

Thanks for the demo.  The photos are awesome.

That E6000 is great for tipping hair strands. It is easy to use, holds all
the hairs into the strand without shedding, dries fast and clear, and
makes a nice tight bond with shr******s or (my preference) silicon
microrings. The dried tip squishes flat into the flattened ring, lying really
flat in the hair. The glue seems to provide a little extra adhesion without
leaving any residue on your hair. When I reuse strands, I put a little extra
glue on the tip, roll it back into a round shape (and let it dry) to allow the
tip to more easily slip into the little hole on the microring.

Yay!!!!! I totally know what you mean about hair care for long hair. I've
only had mine two weeks, and although I love love love how it looks I'm
stunned at how much frigging WORK it takes to keep it up. The first few
days I didn't even realize you had to brush it often to keep the tangles
out! There were all these knots, and I'm thinking, hey, what's this. And
the blow dry time! Jeez, I'm getting arm muscles from hoisting that blow
dryer around so much. You women with really long hair have new-found
respect and admiration from me for all you go through to keep it looking
pretty.

Your natural hair looks exactly like mine. I used to wear a bob like your
new do and loved it. You've inspired me to keep growing mine and to
consider the alternative of enhancing my own volume with some strands
once it gets to that long bob length. My guy just adores that style.

Monsterita, your new hair looks great! Thanks for the reminder that if I
weenie out on long, full hair that I've got an option that's pretty darned
cool.
Here's to the end of my BAD HAIR LIFE!

This is what I did today!

I had been wearing 18" virgin indian hair for the past 12 weeks but it was so much work keeping up that long hair, that I just got tired of it.  You know, the blow drying, the blending, the curling....*whew*!

So, I decided to take it all out and get a funky new haircut. But, of course, since I have the suckiest hair in the world, no haircut ever works on me.  I was inspired by Ashley Simpson's new haircut in the latest issue of Elle:

(I'm really not a fan!  Honest!  But I did like her hair!), but this is how my hair turned out!  Yuck!  I have the finest, thinnest hair ever!

So, I decided to take a 3 inch section of my indian remy weft,

and make some pre-tips using E6000 (Thanks Kalika!)

Then, I installed the pre-tips using sh****ies:

I cut the hair to blend it, and viola!  A cool, funky haircut, and it actually looks like I have hair!

Thank you all SO much for all the info and help from this board.  I will never have to have bad hair again.  This board ROCKS!
