Just to add, this is the response I got from sensationnel about the soft yaki. Ok I am a bit concerned about the "silky" part, but I'll go and have a look at the pictures of the premium line he is talking about. I do hope it is not brassy!! lol, though I did notice that he said "texture" fingers crossed
THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN SENSATIONNEL PRODUCTS. THE "NUBIAN" YAKI IS A MORE COURSER TEXTURE, WHERE AS THE "SOFT" YAKI IS MORE SILKIER LIKE OUR "PREMIUM NOW - NEW YAKI PLATINUM" LINE.
OUT OF CURIOSITY, WHERE DID YOU PURCHASE YOUR "PRO-10" HAIR? I WAS WONDERING BECAUSE MY COMPANY DOES NOT SELL TO ANYONE IN THE UK.

I also started using pro 10 and for the most part am happy with it. I do agree with Sherrie about the stiffness element though - I have combated this by just spritzing with care free curl, this gives it some bounce without grease! It feels absolutely georgous when wet (and looks more like real hair I would say than any indian remi I tried - only when wet). I have afro hair, so I ordered nubian as I thought this would resemble my own relaxed better.
I think nubian is nice and I intend to keep using pro 10, but after reading around different sites trying to get an insight into the difference between soft yaki and nubian, judging by the picutres I think that soft is my best option. I hope this one will have more of a bounce to it, I think nubian is "meant" to have that stiff edge on it. If you go here and see the soft yaki texture picture (the girl with burgandy ends
I think this texture looks better, if I had seen that in the first place I would have gone with it. I found other sites using different models with soft yaki and I still prefer the look of it (no brassyness!)
Sorry ladies for the long winded post, but I have been offline for a bit and am pleased other people are using the pro 10. I also did razor the hair even though it says you cant, but I combated the frizz factor by running the proper hairdressing razor over it after making sure the hair was wet and had plenty of pink oil on it (conditioner would probably have been just as good)
There I am done, but please if anyone has tried the soft please let me know how you found it as mine should be with me in a week or two. I reckon this hair will catch on a lot more, I am sure they will refine it in some way, I have worn extensions for "many" years, and this is the best yet for me, no snarling, tangling, odd smells lol.
So, where can you order the Pro-10? i am curious about checking
it out now, so its synthetic hair thats been coated so you can curl it
.. sounds intresting

I ordered some Pro-10 today. I hope I get it soon! Someone said it was backordered. I hope they will tell me if it's back ordered.
I'm currently wearing the thermofibre and it's holding up very well. I bought this stuff from from American Dream. The only problem is that it was supposed to be 18", and I would say it's more like 16", which is too short for me. It's funny, my husband says the length is fine and that when I wear longer lengths, I look like a hippie! (I don't think so)
So I might put in some human hair until my Pro-10 comes in. And then after that, hopefully my thermofibre will be in stock, and I plan to stock have it in lengths up to 24".
It cannot be razored. Cutting doesn't seem to have trashed it. The more you wash it the softer and more 'real' it seems to get. I just got my order of #10 and #22 in and I must say my hopes are high. The colors are *really pretty*.
I'm going to pretip a few strands of the better colors and put them in. Will report ASAP!!
YES I got the French Wave Bulk. It looks really scary out of the package then follows your order like a soldier.
Regarding how it feels. . . well. . . I'll put it like this. I've got a head full of PlastikHaar which gets trashed very easily, I've got some human (Jet Set & Elite) which is awesome.
However. My deal is that a head full of Human Extensions is a B**ch for me to take care of. It takes forever to dry and feels very heavy on this very fine & thin head of hair I have. I LOVE HEAT SEALS because I can get so much volume of hair on my head and it's so light and easy to care for. My problem is that I just don't like the fact that I have to use hot rollers on PlastikHaar, and it fries SO easily.
SO. . .having said all that. . . I haven't given up on synth yet and I suppose I have a lot of patience because I've had some real crap on my head!!
Will post more details as they become available!!!

I was reading about it on two other message boards, and both ladies said that when then went to cut the hair, it made it really frizzy, beyond repair. Any comments?
Fina Fina, What kind did you get? The French Wave? I had a really difficult time curling mine and it felt like straw unless I got it wet then it felt amazing.

The texture seems to mellow with each wash. It's really weird. I have to really *search* my head to find the Pro-10 strands. OK - got my hands on a camera. Photo quality is not great however - here it is.
Note how bizarre the hair looks in its "out of the box" state (on the right). To straighten it I just used a large barrel curling iron and ran it down the hair (middle). The left side was just done for about 15 seconds with the same curling iron.
By the way - hiya back ccross and elvira!! Glad to be back!!!

I guess I really didnt give the pro-10 a chance...I just really disliked the feel of the silky-yaki. To me it felt very rough and harsh. I liked the feel of Wawa better than the Pro-10. But I cant compare how the pro-10 wears since it was only on my head for a day! Maybe I would have liked a different texture better.
Hey Fina! I'm not on the board as much but it's good to see you back! I was just thinking of you the other day when I pulled out some leftover handtied Indian hair I got from you last year. Hope all is well with you!

good to have you back! i would love to hear/see what the #10 looks like when you get it via pics. sherrie kindly sent a snippet of her 613 in the pro-hair and i was surprised people disliked it so much..but i guess you gotta wear it before you can really tell how it's going to perform, eh.
