This look was for her role in Sin City.  They bleached it to make her look more like the comic character she was playing.  She has already grown it out, gotten mid-back extensions, then settled into a bob above the shoulder that is just stunning on her.  If you go to wireimage you have to back to like page 49 to see multiple pics of her with the blond hair. 

I'm a big fan of just doing something different and having fun with hair. From that perspective I think this look was cool.  It was out there and original.  Still it's clearly not her best, not by a long shot.

i think it looks almost okay but i think she should die it a little darker but i think it looked so good in rent

How could someone so beautiful do that to themselves.I have seen some dramatic dark to blonde transformations,but this one takes the cake.And definitely not in a good way. It doesnt look right at all.Maybe its the lighting,but that is an obsene yellow color.

I hope it doesnt last long.I loved the natural look she had before.Lets pray its a crappy wig.

Eeek! She reminds me of Donatella Versace if her extensions were to snag on something and tear off. Not a good look compaired to what she had before!

The overall look is funky, but her hair itself looks really damaged...I wouldn't dare to run my fingers through that!

i just saw Rosario Dawson at the Calvin Klein spring/summer 05 show on TV and she had BLONDE HAIR!!!  this is the only pic i could find, no idea how she got it that light.
