The hair dreams hair all has a little bit of wave to it according to my extensionist. It can be straightened easily. I have had mine in about 2 months and its ready to be taken out. my hair growth is starting to make it a mess.
Why did you choose the hair dreams???

Seriously 2 months that is sooooooo not worth it!!! I don't know what I'm going to do!! He has already ordered the hair with my down payment of 50%......The thoght of spending 2 grand for something that only last 2 months is making me physically ill. I thank everyone for all the input!!!

sorry for my ranting in this thread...it just seems like the ones that are charging the biggg $$$ (like up there in the grands) are the same ones that say they can stay in for 6 months. Just makes me think its a way of 'justifying' the price for these methods
I agree with Sherrie! I get quite peeved when stylists tell their clients that too. It is so false! Your hair has a very good chance of being trashed if you leave them in for 6 months.
I think some of the time the stylist who have never worn extensions themselves, just don't know any better and believe the rhetoric the company feeds them. And then I think some do know better, they don't give a hoot about the client, they just see dollar signs.
I tell people 3 months, that's it! And I charge way less than $2 grand!
I dont why these EXPERIENCED EXTENSIONISTS would tell people that they can leave them in for 6 months. They KNOW better and they know what the risks are. Is it to justify the 2 GRAND?
Dont ever leave ANY hair extensions in your hair over 12 weeks. It has absolutely nothing to do with the type of extensions or the method. It has to do wth your natural hair growth. By the time your bonds are around 12 weeks, your natural hair has had regrowth and the bond will be far enough away from your roots to cause problems with tangling and matting from the shed hair that is trapped in the bond and also the extension hair will be attached to less natural hair due to shedding. Letting this go longer can result in losing hair from the tension and excess weight on fewer strands of natural hair and can be easily caught when brushing and combing hair.
I have hair dreams and it was expensive. Not worth all the money I spent. Hair is good quality but I realized I could of bought hair and installed myself or found an extensionist to install for much less. How much is he charging? I dont know if he tells you they last for up to 6 months but no extensions last that long. I would say 8-12 weeks maximum. Your hair growth will interfere with the extensions after this amount of time.
