Well thanks for the suggestions.  I will see what happens and repost.  But if it won't work, would curls like Bobby Valentino be possible on my hair?

your hair sounds like mines. use a soft brush and some sportan waves gold but not too much just a moderate amount and brush all the time. water is good for makin your curl some more too.

Well i got pictures of me when i had long hair and i guess it looks like i have wavy or curls in my hair.  As u already know im the latino so the one in the middle and the one on the left in the black and white picture.  But now i have my hair really short into a fade.

lay your hair down and jus define ur waves. In my view i dont tink products alwayz bring you waves...Its all mainly in the brushing. Them products are kool though..but am using more natural products like carrot creme, olive creme etc etc

At the moment i dont have a pitcure, but my hair may be similar to Pitbull's hair or Vin Diesel's when it started growing out in A Man Apart.  And i don't think i have really straight hair or white people hair.  My hair is coarse, thick, and i did grow out my hair and the back of my hair started to curl upwards.  But now i cut my hair into a fade.

Sup, welcome 2 the site. Is ur hair realllly straight like a white dudes...bcos one dude had REAL str8 hair a few weeks ago and their was no chance he was gonna be waving. I think a pic would help 2 show how straight ur hair is..Howeva i would get scurl wave gel activator 2 bring curls in your hair. Get some carrot creame, and a soft brush and start 2 brush dat hair non-stop

I was wondering, i have straight latino hair, can i get waves?  I've seen in other forums that people with latino hair or mixed hair have an advantage but i don't know if it's true. the link to the forum is here http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=3813& amp;PN=0&TPN=2

So if it is possible to get waves, what reccomendations do you have, like a brush type and pomade, grease lotion, what hair cut.  I wear a stocking cap to lay my hair flat down. Thanks in advance for the help.
