I know the feeling hun. I`ve been searching almost everywhere but haven`t found anything I liked yet! Well hope this helps!

Heres an article that Karen wrote long time ago.

Here is a prom style that is easy to do but would look great on medium length hair (chin lenght to shoulders length). The style would work best on straight or wavy hair.

1. Wash hair and blow dry using a good leave in conditioner and/or straightening product if hair curly.
2. Once hair is completely dry comb through dry hair with your fingers (don`t use a comb or brush or the style will be flat). Use palms of your hands to smooth hair and fingers to create texture and fullness.
3. Sweep your hair up into a mieeld low ponytail. This means that is is halfway between the nape of your neck and high on your crown.
4. Use a hair friendly elastic band to contain the ponytail and use a color that matches your hair.
5. Take the ponytail in your hands and gently twist the entire ponytail pulling the tail up as you twist towards the front of your head. Secure the twisted ponytail in the middle of your head. You can experiment with how far you want the tail to rest on your head.
6. Carefully separate some strands from the ponytail and then either curl with a curling iron or crimp with a crimper.
7. If you really want to go crazy, crimp a few strands and curl a few strands for a mixed up texture look.
8. Dress up the style with a glittery headband, tiara or floating hair jewels. Punch up the look with gel mixed with glitter. Add one of two jeweled hairsticks or barrettes.
9. Don`t forget to pull out a few wisps on each side of your face and either crimp or curl.

Be creative. Don`t forget to practice this hairstyle a couple of time BEFORE the big event so you are comfortable with the results.

Hi, I need to find a hairstyle for homecoming, which is next week! I know I want my hair up, but that`s about it. Also, I have bangs,so it`s hard to know how well the style looks w/ them. My hair is medium length. I`ll appreciate any input :)
