Yep.. AMM has said she isn't going to have time to keep up with this part of her business anymore.. AMM & Wagman (the source) sells this hair in minimum quantities of 16oz.. Aphrodite is still selling the hair because she allows her customers to buy the hair in smaller quantities (4, 8, 12 oz) in case you don't want to buy a full 16 oz..

i believe the colored hair is the hair that is being discontinued by ep and also wagman,,,i talked to lauren at wagman and she said they only have certain colors and lengths and textures left of the colored line,, and ep sells the line as the softwear line,,,i wish i knew the source for that hair,, seems that wagman isn't going to carry it anymore,,,ammm,,,,anychance you can tell us where you got that hair??? pretty please with sugar on top??? the elite remy you used to sell that we could order in colors?????

My question is where is the COLORED hair coming from? Does she buy the same hair from 2 different companies? I see that Wagman has natural colors but what about all those colors on her color ring.... where are they coming from?
As long as she is getting more colors such as 13..27...and 22...in...I will be happy. I just don't understand ....was she coloring the hair....surely not....cause I want my elite remy in colors and I want it to be available ALL the time.... AND I trust Amms site and I want it to be the same quality hair I bought before. I'm sure she will disclose her source if she decides to completely stop selling hair.
Thanks,
JeepGirl
Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!

Amm was generous enough to give us her source because she
doesn't have the time any more to sell hair but wants us to be able to
buy it for ourselves. And yes, Amm's Elite Remy and the Premium
Remy from Wagman Primus are the same hair. I'm assuming that is
where Aphrodite is getting her hair as well.
Here's to the end of my BAD HAIR LIFE!

Like I said on bhm, as soon as I get my samples of the different textures, I'll give you the scoop. Hopefully by then someone will have received and installed their relaxed straight to road test it. Are you trying to meet a deadline for a hair appt?
current install: EP Relaxed Texture, 14", #2, sewn in

hi laskas - i went over to BHM (where i lurk, a lot :) ) and saw you posted as well over there..hopefully someone will chime in with experience, but Abby from BHM said this about the relaxed straight:
The Natural body is perfect for AA relaxed hair. Texturewise it is almost identical to the relaxed straight but it has a "natural body" whereas the relaxed straight although will blend perfectly with relaxed hair worn straight doesn't seem like it would hold a curl for a day or so (I'm lazy about flat ironing my hair unless I have somewhere to go).
i myself have worn bohyme (not the elite, though) and i would say i am moderately harsh on my hair and i could push it through 2 installs (so maybe 5 months)..by the end of that time it was looking ready to be put to rest
when you have some time browse back over the pages here and you can see examples of what people have installed. amanda who posts here does lots of beautiful installs with bohyme.
good luck!

I think a year would be pushing it for Bohyme. I would say 6 months maybe if you are nice to it! I, on the other hand torture the crap out of hair....so I never get as long as some people . Also since your dark brown it would probably hold up longer than the #613 that I use.
I may not be the best person to answer the Bohyme question considering the torture that I put my hair through!
well,,i'm caucasian,, i have thin fine hair,,,dark brown,,so are you saying relaxed straight is more like african american relaxed hair?? or is it just ,,straight but with slight body as opposed to stick straight??
i'm wondering how hard it's going to be to die the virgin hair... that's why i was maybe asking about bohyme,,,is bohyme elite the kind that you can reuse for up to a year??? thanks for the answers

i'm presuming the "relaxed straight" is treated to resemble relaxed hair, not hair that is naturally silky nor straight.
the bohyme silky straight is treated to be silkier, not like relaxed hair but more like a european texture.
i don't think there is one "better" type of hair, it depends on your budget, your own hair texture, and what your goals are. if you start by telling us that people can give you better advice.
Hope that helps!

It's the same hair.. AMM only offered it in natural colors which Wagman only offers it in as well..
No, I did not only offer it in natural colors. There were colors as well. One is processed for texture and color and the other is only processed for texture.
My bad.. I read this "Natural color is black to off black and/or dark brown. Natural highlights and tone may be present. All wefts can be colored to individual preference." So I took this to mean that there were no color options on the Elite Remy unless you colored it yourself..

anyway, yes.....a great deal for people who can use dark wefts/dark hair!

i have some of amm's Elite Remy in #22 and i lovelovelove it (and everyone in my house keeps stealing the bar of handmade oatmeal and honey soap that she included with my order----it is MINE it smells so good!)......anyway, this wagman site only has one color hair, black, correct? at any rate i cant wait to get my elite remy hair in, but of course now that i have great hair just waiting to be put in my current install is hanging just perfect so i'll wait till it is ready to come out

i've emailed amm with questions about her elite remy hair,,but i haven't gotten any responses..... does anyone know does the relaxed straight,,is that similar to silky straight?? and can this hair be ordered in colors?? like color 2 and 4..or is it virgin untreated?? also,, is this hair better than the bohyme remy she has on her site,,or is it just virgin and the bohyme is processed and colored ,but they are both top qaulity?? thanks for any help..
***Edited to add*** I forgot to say this.. If 1 pound increments are too much for you, Aphrodite is also selling this same hair in 4, 8, 12 oz increments. www.Aphroditessalon.com

I emailed her at her site and Anna or Ann responded back today and said that they would be getting elite remy in colors mid-month. I am wanting the natural body in 13...22... ans 27. I LOVE this hair...I've had it in since March15th with only one removal and install that I just did last Sat.
The elite remy natural body is still soft with just a little drying on the ends.... and very little tangeling... which brushes out easily. I get a little shedding but that is to be expected. I think I can use this hair for several more months or in conjunction with new hair. Cause if Amm gets some colors in.... you bet I'll order it before it's gone again...even if I'm not ready to use it.
Thanks,
JeepGirl
