YEAH!! My install is complete. I started by sealing all wefts with GS Hypo Cement(not the one for paper). I then bleached all with Wella Welllite & 30 vol. can't remember for how long...I colored some #4RC & some #5RC. I installed with protac. I have 5 rows in the back, 2 doubled. 4 on each side, 2 doubled. All the doubles are on 1/2 piece of protac, all the singles are on 1/3 of a piece of protac. I had just under 6 oz. of natural body - sorta wavy. I have 1.3 ounces left. It took me about 4 hours, including clean up and 1 juicey break with the kids, as well as getting bananas & popsicles for them too.

This hair is SO light, all I can feel is the protac. The beard is itching some underneath against my neck, but it is tolerable. I also have that darn darkness on the ends of my hair again(forgot to use the protien filler Sad ) so the blending is not the best right now. I think after a couple washes it'll be better. I'm gonna have hubby trim the ends of the hair for me, they are a little dry from the bleaching.

I feel as tho I have more rows on my head thenI did with my last install, but I used WAY less hair. last time my neck was actually sore from holding up all that hair. However, I don't care for the zig zag weft. I'm worried that the beard will cause matting. Time will tell. I also wish the ends of the hair were fuller, not so scragally(sp?) I can't really judge shedding yet altho as I sit here and pull my finger thru the ends, I get a couple hair coming out. Nothing major.

I can't wait until my hair is about 4 inches longer(shoulder length now) I will not have such a problem with blending my natural hair..

I will update again after a few washes...
Amanda
