I've been using protac fortified with liquid gold and they both come out effortlessly with Orange Glo cleaner and polish - the oily kind, not the degreaser kind. A 32 oz spray bottle is less than four bucks. Spray it on, let it work for a few minutes, and the weft will come right out with a little tug, protac/LG-the whole shebang. It's a good alternative if you don't want to use acetone. Then use a comb to gently comb out the bits of glue/tape in your hair, shampoo well, and voila.
If your talking about pro-tac I always use pure acetone to remove them. They literally come out in a few seconds. Then wash your hair twice and use a good conditioner.
Well, it was fun while it lasted I had to take them out. The glue was really starting to irritate my scalp. And I think I ruined the extensions I had in. I didnt have any remover, I looked up the glue brand and found the remover and it just said the ingredient was oil. So dummy me tried baby oil thinking, "well i used it when my son was an infant for cradle cap and it came off just fine." I've spent the last hour trying to get it out of my real hair. I washed the extensions and the instructions said to towel dry/air dry the hair. the glue on them are all gummy. So i may have to buy another bag.
Does anyone know if Sallys beauty store sell the tape stuff everyone is talking about? if not, i hope the wig/beauty store i got the extensions from sells it. Now I have to go to work w/ butched up hair tomorrow.
