You sure can use protac and LG with wefts! I just use protac. I only use LG to secure two layers of weft togther on the tapes. (I little bit LG between the wefts) I wear mine for an average of 6 weeks
I actually had some of my hair cornrowed before this install, since my
natural hair is very frizzy in the summer and tends to stick out
between my install. I only had a few rows done in the middle 1/3
of my head which is the area that gives me the issues.
I didn't do the sew-ins, just used them to get rid of some of my
natural hair for now. I would not use the protac because
you really need the hair left out to be able to cover both sides (its
kinda like double sided tape) Otherwise the hair from above you would
want to use for blending would end up sticking to it and it would hold
it down. I am using liquid gold in thos areas and so far it has
worked out great.
